Aviation Intership
in Mexico

Length of time: 10 days - 4 weeks
Location: Our Chihuahua or Tepic base
Lodging: Local Airbnb
Cost: Travel expenses to location, $350/flight hour, $25/day for food, $50/day for lodging, plus local travel and entertainment/day trips (all costs estimated)
Number of interns: Our program works best if there are 2-3 interns at one time.

Our goal is to provide a deeper look into a cross-cultural ministry in aviation. This may include about 10 hours of flight time. Of course, our main goal is to provide ministry flights to those we serve, so any flight time would have to be worked around ministry.

This internship will be most beneficial to you if you have already acquired commercial pilot’s license and an A&P license.

You would work alongside a seasoned missionary, and not only learn about aviation, but also learn what is needed to live cross-culturally. You may see firsthand what village life is like in the remote mountains of Mexico.

During this internship you will learn to fly one of our Cessna Turbo 206s.  You will also gain valuable mountain flying skills in of Mexico.  If you find yourself ready, you may even get to try your hand landing on a dirt mountain airstrip into an indigenous mountain village.  Also, when space allows you will get the chance to ride along on some ministry flights.

We are looking for students who have a heart to serve and learn, and who are interested in a cross-cultural ministry in aviation.

If this fits you, please contact us for more information.
