Bryon and Sandy Brock

Bryon and Sandy serve as the UIM Aviation Director. Their leadership began shortly after moving to Tucson, Arizona, in November of 1999. During this time, they raised four children that are serving the Lord. Please pray that God would work in unique ways to continue to bless UIM Aviation as they endeavor to reach the remote peoples of Mexico with the Gospel of Christ. 

 

Paul and Laurel Timblin

Paul and Laurel are missionary kids who grew up overseas (Liberia and Germany) and met at Piedmont Bible College. There Paul received his Aviation training and they each completed their Bible training. They joined UIM Aviation in 2004 and moved to Tucson, AZ where Paul had been Director of Maintenance since 2006.  Laurel was part of starting Faith Christian Academy for 6-12th grades, and she also helps with promotional events for UIMA.

 

Tony & Suanne Harmon

Tony and Suanne Harmon joined the UIM Aviation team in 2001. Since moving to Tucson, Tony has worked in the hangar as one of the mechanics. With a heart to teach, he enjoys helping interns that partner with UIMA in their education. He also takes care of the hangar facilities as well as supervising individual volunteers and teams that serve with UIM Aviation. Having stayed at home while their four children were young, Suanne now works in the office at their church.

 

Silas and Amanda Cheek

Silas and Amanda became appointee’s of UIMA in 2019. Both Silas and Amanda knew at an early age that they wanted to serve in missions full-time. Silas is a private pilot and A&P maintenance specialist. As the rest of their support comes in, Silas is helping at the hangar in Tucson when he can. Amanda is also helping at the office. Their daughter Emma is in 3rd grade, and the twins, Isaac and Isabella, are in kindergarten.

 

Dave and Olivia Wolf

David and Olivia have served in mission aviation since 1979 flying from each UIM Aviation base. They lived 20 years in Mexico. Now they provide training for new staff families and currency checks at the UIMA base in Tucson. As certified chaplains they provide mentoring and discipling to missionaries as well. Dave and Olivia have two daughters and three grandchildren.

 

Filipe and Bethany Rocha

Bethany has been serving with UIM Aviation since 2018. She is the Office Manager working remotely from Virginia. Bethany oversees many tasks such as emailing, phone calls, minutes, billing, and flight billing. She also provides a logistical support for team members. Bethany & Filipe have one daughter, Jade.

Simeon and Naomi Koranek

Simeon and Naomi joined UIM in March, 2023, and are currently building their prayer and financial support base. They have been working towards serving missionally using aviation for 10 years. They have 2 children, Jonathan (4) and Hadassah (2) and are excited for them to grow up experiencing a life of obedience to God’s calling. They will be going to language school and then serving in Mexico as a pilot and mechanics.

Mark Arrigo

Mark volunteers at the Tucson hangar. His opportunity to serve part-time with UIM Aviation began thirty years ago as a USAF pilot. Today, after a career with the airlines he is back again! Living proof that God will provide one the opportunity to serve Him in a meaningful and glorifying way no matter what stage in life one is in.

 
 

Chihuahua, Mexico

MICHAEL AND Lindy Busenitz

Michael and Lindy Busenitz grew up on the mission field, one in Europe the other in the Middle East. In 2000 they joined UIM International. Since 2002, they have been serving with the aviation department in Chihuahua, Mexico. Michael’s roles include chief pilot, field pilot, and aircraft mechanic. Lindy teaches at the mission school in Chihuahua. They also enjoy hosting a weekly discipleship Bible study in their home.

 

Aaron and ELise Varela

The Lord called Aaron and Elise to pursue missionary aviation during their college years. Aaron grew up in California, and Elise grew up as a missionary kid in Mexico. They are excited to participate in God's work in Mexico and beyond. Aaron is currently being trained on the rugged airstrips in the mountains around Chihuahua. Elise is homeschooling their two children.

 
 

Tepic, Mexico

Jasson and Kim Farmer

Jasson and Kim began serving the Lord in Papua New Guinea in 2005. They have served in Tepic, Mexico as a UIMA pilot since 2012. Jasson loves flying in the mountains of Mexico and having an impact on the lives of the people. When Kim is not homeschooling their four children, she enjoys her ministry in hospitality and promoting the ministry though video, social media, and website design.

 

Kevin and Imelda McDaniel

The McDaniel family has been serving the Lord in Tepic Nayarit Mexico since 2016. They began working with UIMA as volunteers in 2019, and joined UIMA in 2022. Kevin enjoys helping out with logistics, communication, translation, and relationship building with native contacts. Imelda runs the household, homeschools their three girls, and still finds time to lend a hand with some of the logistical aspects for various mission outreaches!

 

Nathan and Kayla White

Nathan and Kayla joined the UIMA family in 2018.Nathan and Kayla both grew up in pastor families. They met and married in Boliver, MO where Nathan received his aviation training with SOAR. They currently serve in Tepic, Mexico where Nathan serves as a pilot and mechanic. They have three children- Nora, Hudson, and Sara.

 
 

Napuchis, Mexico

Brent and Hollie Mae Dodd

Brent and Hollie Mae are second generation missionaries. They began serving in Papua New Guinea in 1997, moving to Mexico, to serve with UIM Aviation, in 2014. They fly for a medical mission hospital, local pastors, and other missionaries, in the mountains of Mexico. They are grateful for the privilege of serving the Lord together with the whole UIM Aviation team. They have four children and eight grandchildren.

David and Delia Hardin

David and Delia Hardin have been serving with Mexico Medical Missions (MMM) in the heart of the Sierra Tarahumara since 2005. They were married in 2008 and have been blessed with three boys Esteban, David, and Daniel. David's primary area of service is with UIM Aviation, performing maintenance on UIM aircraft and as the "developer" of UIM's flight management software.
