Mechanic

The objective of a UIM Aviation mechanic is to maintain, repair, and modify UIMA aircraft for ministry in Mexico. We also assist in the maintenance of other ministry aircraft as they partner with UIMA. All major maintenance takes place at our base in Tucson, AZ. However, light maintenance and minor repairs are performed at our bases in Mexico. We are currently seeking a full-time mechanic at our Tucson base as we have both regular and ongoing projects. We are also looking for full-time mechanics in Mexico who would, not only be responsible for aircraft maintenance, but also willing to take on other ministry opportunities (ie. Automotive maintenance).

REQUIREMENTS

MECHANIC REQUIREMENTS

• A&P certificate

• 2 years experience with light aircraft

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

• Live in or relocate to Tucson, AZ

• Good Christian testimony

• Local church membership

• The equivalent of one year of Bible training

• A desire to minister cross-culturally

• Training and experience in position sought
