A Life Lost and a Life Saved

The cry of a mother's heart . . .
Recently, I received a text from a missionary team asking me for a medical evacuation flight for a young lady whom they believed was having pregnancy complications, as it appeared she was miscarrying her baby. Early one Sunday morning, I was able to transport them to the hospital in the Carbon Cub.

Sadly, the baby had truly passed away in the womb, but blessedly, the mother was able to pass the baby and placenta and is doing well. Praise the Lord! A few days later, I flew the couple back to their remote location.

Please pray for this couple, as they deal with the loss of their little one. They were shown Christ’s love and care through the missionary team and hospital staff.  The couple has had the opportunity to sit under the teaching of the Word, in the village, but neither of them has shown any interest to listen, up to this point. The missionary lady who ministers in their village, who had them in her “out of the village” home, Monday night, said they talked until 3:00 am, and that they were open to speaking of things of the Lord. Please pray God will draw them to Himself and that they will believe in Jesus, for the salvation of their souls.

While this dear couple has not yet chosen to attend the Bible teachings, some of their younger siblings do attend, and some of their siblings have professed faith in Jesus Christ. Please pray for the young (quite literal) believers in this village, that they will grow to love and know Jesus more deeply, and that their faith will impact their families, and draw the adults in the village to a saving faith in Christ, too.
