When There is No Way In

While we are so grateful for the villages, we are able to reach with the aircraft, the sad fact is that there are many, many villages which are still inaccessible. It’s a lot of work to make a runway. We were recently contacted about a lady who was very sick, she has been struggling to retain any fluids for almost two months. She was a 5-hour hike from any runways we could fly into and 8 hours from the city (by hiking, boat and then bus). Our brothers in Christ from this village asked if we could fly over and drop the medicine she needed from the aircraft! We have done drops like this before, and it’s a pretty tricky thing. The guys ended up circling the village five times before they found the right way to drop the medicine. The winds were strong, making it difficult! But in the end, she has her medicine! Pray that the Lord will use this medicine to heal her and encourage her relationship with Him!

Every time one of our planes lifts off, it carries more than fuel and supplies — it carries hope. Hope for remote villages tucked deep in Mexico’s rugged mountains. Hope for families waiting for medical care. Hope that comes through pastors, doctors, and most importantly, the message of Jesus Christ.
