The Weakening of Satan's Stronghold

Recently, I did two flights for a missionary team to their location of ministry. I was reminded again that they are reaching a location where the enemy still has a stronghold. After loading the airplane, a father and son communicated with the missionaries that the son’s family was very sick. I told them I would wait around until they could assess and confirm the children were sick and needed to be flown to the hospital.

I helped the missionaries carry their belongings to the house where they live. After a short time the missionary lady returned and said the youngest baby was very sick. Two of their other children were sick, also, and would be need to be flown out.

They then informed me that the grandfather of the children was a witch doctor. In the past he had not allowed another one of his sick grandchildren to be flown out to the hospital, and the child ended up dying. He was not going to allow these children to be flown out today. When I heard that, I suggested that we pray and ask God to change this man’s mind. We took a moment and prayed.

The sick child

God answered our prayers and about 45 minutes later the missionary lady informed us that the witch doctor had changed his mind and was allowing the family to be flown out. God is so good! I was able to fly the family out, and they are presently down at the hospital being treated now. The mother sounded like she was pretty sick also. Please pray this family will all get well and that God will get the praise and glory. Please also pray for the missionary team as they show Christ love and care for this community and share the gospel with them.

Update:

Brent Dodd flew the sick family back home that he flew out a short while ago. As you can see from the picture there is great improvement. They are not 100%, but the children are on their way to recovery. Praise the Lord! The little girl that was sick with pneumonia has a strong cry and is holding her head up. She was not able to do that before. Praise God for the healing He gives and for the hospital personnel that cared so well for them. Rejoice with us!

The sick family doing much better!
