A Boy's Journey to Healing

As a mother, you desire to protect your children.
That’s why seeing your child hurt can be so painful.

When UIM Aviation pilot, Brent Dodd, picked up an injured boy, he could not walk.  He could only stand on his good leg holding on to something.  Someone had to carry him everywhere.  He was thought to have a broken hip, but when ex-rayed, it showed to only be dislocated. Dr. Mike thought he was going to have to operated on the hip. PTL he was able to manipulate the hip back into place.

The boy was in a body cast with his legs apart for about four weeks, so the joint could heal in the right position. Lord willing, he will be able to walk again. He had such a sweet spirit when Brent Dodd was putting him into the airplane. Life is not easy for him right now.

After his body cast was put on at the hospital, Brent Dodd flew this little guy back to his remote location. Recently, he flew him back to the hospital again to have his body cast removed. Again, the pilot flew him back to his remote location and the boy is able to walk a little. Lord willing, in a short time he will be running around with kids his age. Without the airplane and hospital staff here he could have been crippled for the rest of his life. God is good!
