Malnourished Twins
One of our UIMA pilots flew these 16 month old twins from their village, to the mission hospital, last week. They were severely malnourished; the boy weighed around 7 pounds and his sister was around 13 pounds.
Due to the drought their family experienced, last year, they ran out of corn, and didn’t have enough food to feed their family. With the meticulous care of the hospital staff, and God’s grace, the twins are improving and gaining weight. It is expected that they will need hospital care for a few weeks.
Please pray the mother will come to know the Lord during her time at the mission hospital, and that her conversion will have a ripple effect when she returns to her village home. May 2021 be a year of GREAT harvest, for the fields are ripe and ready to be harvested!
Thank-you for partnering with us in prayer. Prayer plays a vital part in the ministry of reaching souls. We appreciate all you are doing for the sake of the Kingdom.
