Missionary Kids Invovled in Ministry

Missionary kids can be a vital part of the ministry. Jasson and Kim Farmer's four kids, ages ranging from six to seventeen, all help out with the ministry in different ways, depending on their ages. The older ones help with supply buying, loading and unloading the plane, and even occasionally flying along to distribute food. The younger ones have helped out with preparing Bibles for distribution and encouraging other missionary kids.

Serving the Lord is not just something adults get to do, but kids can and should learn to serve Him from a young age. Childhood is the best time to learn about what it means to work together in ministry and follow the Lord. Who else will teach these young minds about what it means to be a part of the body of Christ, if it is not for their parents? Each one of you can teach your children to serve the Lord by being an example to them right where God has you now.

Please remember to pray for UIM Aviation's MKs in Mexico. Many of them face challenges that most kids never even think of. Some of the obstacles they face are loneliness and isolation, awkwardness in communication in a different language and culture, missing family and friends from their home country, and being exposed to danger. But MK's also have a much bigger perspective of the world than their peers which can greatly benefit them in life.
"There is no greater joy than serving the Lord as a family."
